The Animal Zone
Meet the Animals – Web Adventure Park’s Animal Zone
Step into our Animal Zone, a peaceful and interactive area where children and families can get up close to some of our most charming residents. From fluffy guinea pigs to friendly ponies and curious pigs, it’s the perfect spot for little animal lovers.
Buy animal feed at reception and enjoy the joy of watching them eat right from the troughs – it’s always a hit with younger visitors.
A Safe, Caring Environment
Many of our animals are rescued and lovingly cared for by our dedicated team. We ask all guests to help us keep them healthy and happy by:
Not bringing human food or drinks into the animal area.
Following all posted signs and staff instructions.
Please ensure everyone washes their hands after visiting the animals.
Join Our Animal Encounters
For a hands-on experience, don’t miss our Animal Encounters – interactive sessions where children can learn more about the animals, help feed them, and ask questions.
Check the notice board at the entrance to the Animal Zone for the latest session times and dates.
Pot Bellied Pig
Don’t forget to come and say hello to our pot-bellied pig George!
He loves a good soak in his muddy wallow, it may look dirty but did you know pigs are some of the cleanest animals?
Shetland Sheep
We currently have four rare breed Shetland sheep here at the park, Ali, Iris and our twin brothers Frankie and Jeff.
This breed date back to over 4500 years ago, and were kept by Neolithic farmers.
Alpacas
Maia and Olivia are our lovely Alpacas, come and say hello!
They are a part of the camelids family, just like Llamas and Camels, watch out as they may spit!
Degus
Our six lovely ladies, Fern, Blossom, Willow, Thistle, Bramble, and Ivy.
The girls can be seen during the day as degus are some of the only rodents who are active during daylight hours.
Rabbits
Our fluffy bunnies Hazel, Oscar, Clover and Elmo are all rescues.
When rabbits are happy, they ‘binky’ – this is when they hop in the air, twist their body, and kick their feet.
Ponies
Meet our two rescued Shetland Ponies, Charlie and Ellie.
Shetland Ponies are the smallest of the native Pony breeds found in the United Kingdom and originate from the Shetland Isles.
Although they are small, they have plenty of personality.
Guinea Pigs
Our Guinea Pigs are all rescues – their names are Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Oreo, Flora, Daisy, Daffodil, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Pistachio, Butterscotch, Fauna, and Merryweather.
Our piggies love to eat leafy greens and berries.
Goats
We have lots of friendly Goats who love to welcome visitors!
Their names are Coco, Fudge, Marshmallow, Cinder, Toffee, Blaze, Star, Mars and Mercury.
Our naughty goat Star often jumps the fence to say hello, you might even find him in the flower patch!
Valais Sheep
Our second lot of sheep at the park – our Valias Sheep!
Meet Shaun and Barbara.
Ferrets
We have 5 lovely ferrets – some of the newest additions to the park.
Their names are Bingo, Banjo, Gus, Basil, and Bandit.
The Chickens
Meet our 9 hens and Donald the duck!
Take a visit to the coop and see who rules the roost, they may just remember you if you’re a regular as chickens have been known to memorise faces!
